THE GOGGLEWORKS APARTMENTS Reading, Pennsylvania
The GoggleWorks Apartments (GWA) are located in downtown Reading. They are adjacent to the downtown IMAX theater and in close proximity to the GoggleWorks building of the arts and the Miller Performing Arts Center.
The GoggleWorks Apartments are a vital component in the re-vitalization of downtown Reading. The building is a six story Hi-Rise apartment building. There are 59 apartment units with a mix of one bedroom and two bedroom suites. Each bedroom has a full kitchen, laundry and one or two bathrooms. The ground floor has secured parking and office space. There is a building exercise room and community center. The first floor has 12,000 square feet of usable outdoor deck area.
The GWA are heated and cooled by hi-efficient, fully ducted, self contained air to air heat pumps. Each apartment has individual programmable thermostats. The building has power exhaust systems for close dryer draft control, smoke control system for stair tower emergency exits, low flow plumbing fixtures, high end tubs and showers, individual apartment and owner metering, lighting control for common areas, door entry system, access control, and CCTV/security systems.
